Overview

A curtain wall is the complete outer envelope of a building - an aluminium grid infilled with glass (and sometimes spandrel or metal panels) that carries only its own weight and transfers wind load back to the structure. It is the backbone of every modern glass tower.

We design, fabricate and install unitized and stick curtain wall systems with proper thermal breaks, gaskets and drainage, matched to your building's height and exposure. Every project includes engineering drawings and water-tightness testing.

Typical applications

  • High-rise commercial and residential towers
  • IT park and campus buildings
  • Corporate headquarters
  • Mixed-use and retail podiums

Materials & Specifications

The glass we build with

We specify glass to the building - for safety, comfort, acoustics and energy performance.

Toughened Glass

Heat-treated to be 4–5- stronger; crumbles into safe granules if broken.

Laminated Glass

Two panes bonded with an interlayer - holds together, adds security & acoustics.

Double-Glazed (DGU)

Two panes with a sealed air gap for superior heat and sound insulation.

Low-E / Reflective

Solar-control coating that cuts heat gain and glare for cooler interiors.

Questions

Curtain Wall Glazing: FAQs

What is a curtain wall system?
A curtain wall is a non-load-bearing exterior building envelope made of an aluminium frame infilled with glass or panels. It keeps out weather and carries wind load to the building structure, but does not support the building's floors - hence 'curtain'.
Unitized vs stick curtain wall - which is better?
Unitized systems are factory-assembled into large panels and craned in, giving faster site work and better quality control - ideal for high-rises. Stick systems are built up piece-by-piece on site, costing less and suiting low- to mid-rise buildings.
How long does a curtain wall installation take?
It depends on facade area and system, but a mid-size commercial building typically takes several weeks to a few months from fabrication to hand-over. Unitized systems install faster on site.
Which areas do you cover for this work?
We deliver new installation site works across Hyderabad, Secunderabad and cities within a 4–5 hour drive across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh - including Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Guntur and Kurnool. Repair and maintenance is offered within Hyderabad and Secunderabad only, subject to a site-visit charge.
